{Sweet Aurora-Grand Rapids Portrait Photographer}

Miss Aurora was in town for a visit from PA and took time away from her busy schedule to take part in a mini session! I am lucky enough to see her almost every time she is in the mitten state because her momma usually has her spend a little time in front of my lens!
She is growing so quickly, last time I saw her she was just 6 months old and little ones are a world of difference in 8 months! She is cute as ever, a little serious on this crisp beautiful morning, but smiling or serious I love when I capture the child's personality...and as mom's we know our kids are not always smiling :)

Without further ado, here is miss aurora....

We are currently looking for a few more senior reps, if you are currently a high school junior or know someone who is ...we want to talk to you!

What is a senior rep?? Well it pretty simple, you are my walking/talking billboard...don't worry no tattoos necessary :) If you are selected as a senior rep this is what will happen:

3 simple steps:

1. 2 super fun & uniques sessions with Ashley Photography ( oh by the way the sessions are FREE)

2. I will design rep cards for you ( think business cards with your pictures and my info)

3. you promote Ashley Photography to all your friends looking to have an awesome time with their senior session!

Mini Sessions are back...Cancer Sucks!

Good news is MINI sessions are back through the end of April...why are the back, to help raise money for the awful disease that affects us all in some way...maybe its a family member, a co-worker, a dear friend, even your dog! It does not discriminate...Cancer sucks!

I am forming a Relay for Life team for the Rockford Relay, May 22 & 23 in honor of my dear friend, Amanda. She is currently battling ovarian cancer and has a 'kick cancers a** attitude' . So will you help support her fight and those that you love that may have lost their fight or are currently battling this horrible disease. If you are interested in joining our team please email me and let me know, info@ashleyphotographymichigan.com. But if you are unable to walk you can always support the cause through booking a mini session, I will donate $15 of every mini session to Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society! This is an amazing event that raises not only money but awareness for a great cause...

{Rockford Senior Rep ~ Erica}

Erica is my 2011 Senior Rep for Rockford....I know that 2011 seems like forever away and it is, but the class of 2011 will be thinking about their senior pictures in just a few short months...so if you know of any guys or girls in the greater grand rapids area that are currently juniors in high school and would be interested in working with me and being a senior rep for their school please contact me for more info!

Ok back to Erica...I just love her to pieces she is as cute as they come with just the right amount of spunk! She is a dancer and we wanted her first session to be a little funky! I think we achieved success, I love this session! So here it is...

{The Kellogg's}

Another fun (extended) family session! About a month and a half ago I shot Freeman's newborn session and his mom mentioned that the family was hoping to have a session with all 8 grand kids! So lucky me a month later I spent some time with the 8 kids, yup, that's right 8....they were awesome: a little silly, a little wild and all super sweet! I know their grandparents will treasure this session!

We lucked out with a incredible fall day, absolute perfection:: not to warm, not to cold and beautiful light! The girls are 8 and 9, such fun ages for pictures, because they like to have their pictures taken!! They were game for whatever and they are so cute together, best buddies! Looking at them makes me so excited for my girls and their relationship...being close in age they will always have a friend! LOVE IT!
